Latest: Tottenham sign Roberto Soldado from Valencia.

Tottenham have completed the £26 million signing of Spanish striker Roberto Soldado from Valencia.

Roberto Soldado flew over to London early this morning, in a RyanAir flight.

Report say that the medical will be carried out later today.
The medical is due at Hotspur Way later today.

This is what the Spanish Player had to say about his move to Tottenham:

Soldado on Spurs: "It was a unique offer and the best offer I have received."
"It has always been about a new sporting challenge rather than the money."  "I spoke to AndreVillas-Boas and he convinced me to move for the new project."

Soldado: "I spoke to Andre Villas-Boas and he convinced me to move for the new project."
"The Premier League has always interested me."
"I watched the matches on TV and played against English clubs in European competition."

Soldado: "This is a sensational challenge for me."
"I promise the fans hard work and I hope they will give me their full support in return."

Ledley King, Spurs Captain on potential new signing Roberto Soldado yesterday: " I've seen him play a few times and he's a goal scorer. Hopefully he can come to the Premier League and do the same. It's a good fit. He's a target man and likes to link up and get himself in the box. We want to finish in the top four.  That was the target last season and we want to do the same this year."

Note: The Ledley King Quotes were from yesterday when he was interviewed for Sky Sport #92Live.

With reports that Bale is on his way to Madrid, Tottenham are keen to enhance their team even more with a few more players.
